The Joburg International Motor Show is Africa’s largest vehicle exhibition attracting
hundreds of auto makers and thousands of car enthusiasts. Hyundai needed to stand out.
We built a bespoke wireless RFID & iPad application and integrated it into Facebook
and the Hyundai eCRM system to create an engaging stand with digital at its heart.
First, guests got an RFID enabled card from a Hyundai promotor and
registered it using one of the tablets installed in the podiums next to the vehicles.
They them received an SMS instructing them to explore the vehicles and findthe five hidden features.
For each feature found the guest would tap their RFID card on the box which
sent them an SMS and posted that feature on their Facebook wall.

Thats not all we did though.
Guests could also tap their RFID card on podiums next to each car to get a
brochure sent to them, book a test drive or like it on Facebook.
